Administrative History | The Company appears to have been owned by the Salt Union from at least 1889; the 6 monthly reports (D 6917/503) form part of the numbered series of Salt Union reports. In 1913 the company was wholly owned by the Salt Union, and rented its works to the Union. It was noted that "the only reason for keeping it as a separate company is the cost of transfer of properties to SU and maintenance of the name." |
