Description | DEFEASANCE between William lord of Chelmundelegh [Cholmondeley] and Richard de Hanton; witnesses that whereas the said Richard is bound to the said William by a bond in £200 to be paid to the said William, nevertheless the said William confirms that if the said Richard does not make any demise or alienation in fee or for a term, without the consent of the said William, of the lands, tenements etc; leased to him for a term of years in HANTON [Hampton], EGGE [Edge], MALPAS, WYGGELOND [Wigland], FULWITH [Wychough], KUDYNTTON [Cuddington] and BIKERTON [Bickerton], then the said bond shall be of no effect.
