| Description | AWARD of Peres Dutton of Hatton esq., in a dispute between Sir Randulph Brereton Kt., Randulph his son and heir, Humfrey Brereton, brother of the said Sir Randulph, Richard Swynnarton, Robert Brereton, Edward Sonde, William Kerreson, David Macefen, Jankyn Webster and Thomas Mohalde on the one hand, and Sir James Lee Kt., Richard Cholmondeley of Cholmondeley the elder esq., and Richard Cholmondeley, his son and heir, on the other hand; the said Arbitrator awards that the said Sir Randulph shall pay £40 to the said Richard Cholmondeley the elder (as specified), in satisfaction of all actions, debts etc: between the said parties, except suits between the said Richard Cholmondeley the elder and David Macefen for the time that the said David was his proctor of his part of Malpas Church; and that the said Richard Cholmondeley the elder shall have the parcel of land called Richard of Ridley or Hugh of Ridley lying in the Prestes filde beside the dwelling place of the said Sir Randulph, with a proviso for a possible future exchange of the land; neither party is to disturb the other in possession of the half church of Malpas.
