DescriptionDEED OF SETTLEMENT by Sir Richard Maynwaryng of Ightfeld Kt. to Arthur Maynwaryng his son and heir and Margaret his wife --- all his messuages, cottages, mills etc: in NORTWICH [Northwich], SHIBBROCK [Shipbrook], MIDDLEWICH, SHUCLAGE [Shocklach], HUXLEY, MASEFEN [Macefen], TILSTAN [Tilston], TUSSHYNGHAM [Tushingham], BROXTON, BRADELEY [Bradley], EGGE [Edge], MALPAS, LOWCROSSE [Lowcross], BOLDISWORTH [Bolesworth, BURWARDESLEY [Burwardsley], BUNBURY, CODYNGTON [Coddington], ALPERHAM [Alpraham], STRETTON and CHIDLOW, now/late in the tenures of Richard Walton and others (35 names), an annual rent of 6/8 issuing from a messuage in MIDDLEWICH in the tenure of Ellen Beamond widow, an annual rent of 10d. issuing from lands and tenements of Thomas Robynson in BUNBURY, an annual rent of 3/- from a mill in the tenure of William Belyngham in MASEFEN; to the use of the said Arthur and Margaret and their heirs and for default of heirs, after the death of the said Margaret, to the use of the said Arthur and his heirs.
