DescriptionASSIGNMENT OF LEASE by Roger Manners Esq., Sir Richard Bulkeley of Bewmarice (Co. Anglesey) Kt., Raphe Arderne of Harden (Co. Chester) Esq., and Thomas Arderne, gentleman, at the request of Sir John Savage Kt. and John Savage his son and heir, to Thomas Egerton, Esq., H.M. Solicitor General, Thomas Wilbraham of Wodhey, Esq., Edward Savage, gentleman, son of the said Sir John Savage Kt. and Robert Brocke of the city of Chester -- the Manor, Castle, Town and Lordship of FRODESHAM [Frodsham] with their appurtenances, for 26 years; in trust to permit the said Sir John Savage to occupy the same for life, paying the annual rent of £48 due to the Queen, and if the said Sir John Savage shall die during the said term in trust to permit Dame Elianor and his wife to enjoy the same, and if the said Dame Elianor die or fail to fulfil the conditions stipulated, in trust to permit the said John Savage and his heirs male to enjoy the same.
