DescriptionARTICLES OF AGREEMENT between Hon. James Cholmondeley of Rocksavage [Rock Savage] Esq. and Sir George Warburton of Arley Bt., whereby the sd. parties agree to oblige all owners, merchant traders etc: anchoring, mooring or fastening any ships, lighters, barges etc: at any of the warehouses, keys, wharfs and lands of the sd. parties at FRODSHAM on S. side, and SUTTON on N. side, of the River Weever, to pay, for all such other ships as shall be fastened to them, the duties for moorage and anchorage and for embarking, landing and passing goods, which they have previously refused to pay; the sd. Hon. James Cholmondeley agrees to pay 2/3, and Sir George Warburton 1/3, of the costs of prosecutions. Seal: Red, armorial of Warburton. Paper.
