DescriptionLEASE for 12 years by John de Bradeley to Master Robert de Frodsham then vicar of the same and his assigns, of that place of land in BRADELEY [Bradley] which lies in the land of Thomas de Ardrena in breadth and the way leading to Lower Bradeley in length, with the house in which (Lathsing) formerly dwelt with all its appurtenances in the sd. vill of Bradeley and the house which Margery de Bradeley formerly had and held opposite the gate of the sd. field in the vill of Bradeley, with the whole field cd. Cortisfeld and 2 acres of land which the sd. Margery formerly had and held, the term to commence at the feast of the blessed Michael Major, 1285, at an annual rent of 6d. in silver at the feast of St. Laurence, all which land and houses and more the lessor is to give to William his son and Leuca kinswoman of the sd. Robert, by reason of the marriage to be had between them, for which grant, lease and marriage the sd. Robert has paid him 20 marks in silver, in such a way that if the sd. Leuca dies without heir by the sd. William, the sd. Robert and his assigns shall have and retain all the sd. land and houses with appurts. for a further term of 16 years after the end of the sd. term of 12 years, in recompense for the sd. 20 marks, to hold for the sd. 6d. annually.
