Description | CASE concerning RONCKHORNE [Runcorn] and MOORE; recite the original agreement between (Lord Savage) and his tenants for the purchase of these Manors, whereby (Lord Savage) agreed to lend them money to pay their share of the first payment, their copyholds were to be enfranchised, and (Lord Savage) was to reserve only the seignory and the passage of the Ferry and fishing; and recites that since then some of the richer tenants have got a great part of the inland of Runckhorne into their hands and allege that the seignory was to be divided amongst them, and that one Ryder, who has got a 35 year lease in the boat, desires to purchase it from the seignory.
