DescriptionMORTGAGE to secure £10,000 and interest, by the Rt. Hon. Edward Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer, by direction of the Rt. Hon. James Earl of Barrymore and with the consent of the Rt. Hon. Frederick Earl of Rochford and Bessy Countess of Rochford, to George Pitt of Stratfield Sea (Co. Southants.), esq. --- the Manors of ROCKSAVAGE [Rock Savage] alias CLIFTON, FRODSHAM, KINGSLEY, MOORE, RUNCORNE [Runcorn], BARROW, TARVIN, HENHULL and AULEM alias AUDLEM, 1/6 of the Barony of NANTWYCH [Nantwich], ¼ of KINGSLEY Fee, and all the Manors, messuages, lands etc: in the County of Chester, which in and by the Act of Parliament (no. DCH/E/355, recited) were vested in Robert Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer and his heirs, on the trusts mentioned, and at his death were vested in the said Edward Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer, on the same trusts. Seals: Red, 4, armorial. Endorsed: ASSIGNMENT of the above mortgage by Lora Pitt, late of Streatfield Sea, widow and relict of the said George Pitt and his sole executrix, with the consent of William Pitt and John Pitt esq's, sons of the said George Pitt, to Hon.
