DescriptionLEASE (counterpart) for 14 years by the Most Noble George James Marquis of Cholmondeley to Thomas Eaton of Rocksavage [Rock Savage], yeoman --- a messuage, outbuildings, garden and lands called ROCKSAVAGE HALL FARM, late in the holding of Widow Jackson, in ROCKSAVAGE and HALTON; at an annual rent of £476. Unsealed. Endorsed: "This lease was forfeited and cancelled at Lady day 1821 in consequence of the said Thomas Eatons leaving the Country, the Premises were arrested for Rent due and stock etc.: valued sufficient to cover the Rent due, which was afterwards assignd over to his son John Eaton, he paying the valuation and he is now a Tenant at will for the said Farm".
