DescriptionAPPOINTMENT OF USES by the Rt. Hon. John Earl Rivers to John Bradshawe of Greys Inne esq., and Richard Littler of Mouldsworth, gentleman --- the capital messuage or Manor of ROCKESAVAGE [Rock Savage] alias CLIFTON, the Park with lands, called HALTON PARKE [Halton Park] and RUNCORNE HEATH [Runcorn Heath] and demesne lands, the Castle or House called FRODSHAM CASTLE with demesne lands etc; (except lands called Twinne Mills and other late enclosed wastes, and the farm and lands called Bridghowse farm), and 2 farms called Pikes and Williamsons Farmes, 2 woods called Katnall woods in FRODSHAM and KINGSLEY, and the tithes of the rectory of Frodsham in trust, after payment of the sums specified in an earlier deed of 17. Dec., 1641 (in part recited), to raise £2,000 each to the use of Lady Katherine Savage and Lady Mary Savage, daughters of the said Earl, and £1,000 each to the use of John Savage and Richard Savage, his sons, on the conditions specified.
