Thomas Earl Rivers to William Perry of Helsby, husbandman -- a cottage or small tenement with appurtenances in HELLESBY [Helsby] called Perryes house or cottage, wherein the said William Perry now dwells, and ¼ acre on the late enclosed wastes in HELSBIE called the Greenes and 5 kyne gates on the late enclosed grounds in HELLESBIE aforesaid called the Marsh; for lives of the said William Perry, Anne Perry his wife and Anne Perry his daughter, at annual rent of 4/11½, Cons. £13. Seal: Red, armorial, a chevron between 3 lozenges. Parchment. Endorsed: Memorandum by William Hyde that before the making of this lease, an exchange was made between William Perry and Thomas Primrose of parcels of land called the intacke and the little Bradlingsalfe and that since, an exchange was made by William Perry and Thomas Nangreave of the Bradlingselfe and the cape riddinge, and between William Perry and John Ellams of Perry's quarter in the Greenes and ½ acre of Ellams part in the Greenes, which exchanges are ratified by Earl Rivers.
