Administrative History | Red Rose Hotels Limited was incorporated on the 24th February 1967. Keysell and Company Ltd changed their name to Red Rose Hotels Ltd on the 23rd July 1968. It is unclear what happened to the existing Company. The records show Keysell and Company Ltd were trading in 1909. In July 1964 the share capital of the company was sold to Shrewsbury and Wem Brewery Company. In November 1964 the shares were transferred to Greenall, Whitley and Co. Ltd who became the parent company. The Shrewsbury and Wem Brewery Co. carried on the business of Keysell and co. from 1st October 1966, this was then passed to The Wrekin Brewery Co. Ltd from 22nd June 1967 but the Company ceased trading altogether prior to the name change in 1968. On 28th February 1972, Allied Vintners Properties Limited changed their name to Red Rose Hotels Ltd. It is again unclear what happened to the existing company. |
