| Administrative History | Warrington and Widnes Primitive Circuit was formed in 1879 from Preston Brook Circuit, and in 1901 Warrington and Widnes became separate Circuits. In 1933 Widnes Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist Circuits united to form Widnes Circuit.
