Administrative History	The Governance and Constitution Committee agreed a process for appointing LA Governors with effect from 1 April 2009. In accordance with the guidance given, and in order to have a system which is clear, transparent and effective a LA School Governor Appointments Panel was established It is appointed in accordance with the rules of proportionality, to ensure that these aims are met.
