Description	The schools were built in 1857 comprising Departments for Infants Junior and Senior Girls, Junior and Senior Boys. The Junior and Senior Girls' Departments amalgamated in Dec 1914 to form the Girls' Department. The Junior and Senior Boys' Departments amalgamated in Jan 1920 to form the Boys' Department. The latter closed in May 1943 and a Junior Mixed School was formed in the Girls' Department buildings
