Date	31 Oct 1799
Description	On 2 April 1792 Thomas Hadfield, then of Brinnington but now of Stockport, a hatter, was ordered to pay 1/6 per week to the overseers of Nether Alderley for the maintenance of Alice Lee's child of which he was charged to be the father. He now owes £3-18-00 which he refuses to pay. He is to be apprehended and brought before the Justices of the Peace. [See also P 143/19/6/27]
