Administrative History	St. Michael's was opened in 1885 as a chapel to Runcorn All Saints. In 1931 it became a parish church, serving part of Runcorn. St. Peter's Seamen's Mission opened before 1894, and closed in 1946. For later records, see also Halton and Runcorn Holy Trinity parishes.
