Administrative History	Opened in 1825 as a chapel to Stockport St. Mary. In 1839 it became a parish church, serving Bramhall, Stockport Etchells and part of Stockport. For later records, see also the parishes of Bramhall, Gatley, Norbury, Stockport St. George and Stockport St. Matthew.
