| Description | In Oct 1820, a faculty was granted to erect an organ gallery and organ in Mottram church. The funds for this had been subscribed by the inhabitants and others in the neighbourhood of Mottram. There was £300 left over after the organ was set up so a plot of land was purchased in 1824 and ten cottages erected.
