Administrative History	Opened in 1889 as a chapel to Hyde St. George. In 1891 it became a parish church serving parts of Hyde and Newton (formerly in the parishes of Newton in Mottram and Hyde St. George). The church closed in 2011 and its parish was united with Newton in Mottram as "Newton with Flowery Field".
