Administrative History	An ancient parish church, originally serving the townships of Arrowe, Barnston, Landican, Noctorum, Oxton, Pensby, Prenton, Thingwall and Woodchurch, and parts of the townships of Claughton with Grange and Irby. For later records, see also the parishes of Barnston, Oxton, Prenton and Thurstaston.
