Administrative History	An ancient chapelry in Prestbury parish, also known as Forest Chapel. In 1906 it became a parish church serving Macclesfield Forest and Wildboarclough. United with the parish of Rainow in 1973. For later records, see also Wildboarclough and Wincle.
