Description | Permission to restore the oak screen separating the Barnston chapel from the north aisle and the chancel from the main aisle, and to affix a brass memorial tablet to Margaret Lenthwaite Powell, deceased, wife of Edward Powell of Bexhill co. Sussex, cost to be defrayed by him; to erect above the screen a figure of Our Lord on the Cross with figures of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. John on either side; to furnish the chapel for use as a side chapel with the fifteenth century communion table from the vestry and a brass cross and two candlesticks on it, and to panel the north and east walls of the chapel with oak bearing a memorial inscription to those who fell in the war; to level certain gravestones |
