Administrative History | The school was built in Higher Hurdsfield in 1841, for 260 girls and infants. In 1956 it became an infants school (to 1974) when the junior girls from Trinity and the junior boys from Daybrook Street were moved to a new school in Brocklehurst Avenue. In 1993 the infant and junior departments closed and a new school opened under the name of Hurdsfield County Primary School. |
