Fines for each electoral year to be entered on an indented bill, one half to be retained by the Mayor the other by the Sheriffs, and the latter are to enter into bond to collect the money. No fines to be remitted except by the whole Assembly. The Sheriffs to retain the amount of the fee farm rent, and half the remainder, the rest to be handed over to the Treasurers. Profits accrueing to the Sheriffs out of their own Pentice Court are exempt from this order. The names of eighteen of the Assembly (those present, or signing the order?) are copied at the foot. |
