DescriptionWilliam Knight and Richard Knee to be admitted; in consideration of the service of the former as under-clerk in the Pentice, and of the poverty of the latter, who is also married to a freeman's daughter, £35 of their respective fines of £40 are remitted. Richard Birkenhead and John Norbury not to be admitted.
(March 8th. 1575. Marginal note signed by the Mayor, voiding the latter part of the above.).
In future, no stranger is to be admitted on the payment of any sum whatsoever; any present member of the Assembly consenting to such an admission, is to be liable to a fine of £10.
