A cargo of iron, imported by John French, merchant stranger, has been refused as a common bargain as being too expensive; therefore ordered, that if any private purchaser afterwards resells for more than £9 13 4 the ton, he is to pay £6 13 4 to the Treasurers towards the costs of the new haven. |
