DescriptionA piece of void ground (at present apparently a rubbish dump) at the south end of Cow Lane, to be walled in and used for a garden; Richard Dutton's claim to have the fee farm of it is first to be investigated.
The pavements are to be put in good repair, and thereafter every householder is to pay a penny a year to the Murangers, who shall employ workmen to maintain them.
Admission of Roger Bell, paying twenty nobles [£6. 13. 4], at the request of Sir John Savage; election of Henry Annion and David Jones as Common Councilmen.
Note of disfranchisement of John White, glover, for entering strangers' goods in the customs book under his own name; he is also to pay a fine of £5, and his accomplice, Humfrey Weston, 20/-.
Admission of Richard Arrowsmith, and Richard Evanson, weaver (the latter the son-in-law of William Fletcher, weaver), on payment of £3. 6. 8 each; Thomas Ryvington, at the request of Mr. Massie of Puddington, on payment of £5; and Hugh Lloyde, at the request of his master, Sir William Gerrarde, gratis.
