DescriptionNov. 3rd. Admission, and appointment to the office of swordbearer (recently vacated) of Robert Dod, at the request of the Earl of Leicester, gratis; and of John Mutter, draper, who has not served his apprenticeship, but is accepted by the Drapers, for £10.
March 27th. That part of a cargo of sack and "hullocke" [another type of wine], imported in the "Trinity" of Newcastle, as shall be approved by a committee of "taskers" to be purchased as a common bargain.
(ZA/B/1/184). The members of the Company of Wrights and Slaters, in number twenty, to be admitted into the freedom on payment of a lump sum of £10.
In future, all ground let for the purpose of stacking gorse is to pay rent in the normal way, and not, as with existing and long-established stacks, be rent free.
