DescriptionAuditors appointed for the Mayor's accounts (he complaining that he has expended £160 and received only £80).
The petitions of Robert Peycock and John Smarley for admission, are rejected.
John Eaton, gaoler, nephew of William Eaton, late gaoler, (ZA/B/1/196) and [Richard] Deane, son of Thomas Deane, weaver, deceased, to be admitted each paying 20/-.
Roger Radford to have that portion of the profits of the new shambles lately enjoyed by Mr. Gilbert Knowles. (the remainder going to Jasper Gillam and Richard Ince).
Ralph Rathburne to enter into bond, not to infringe the monopoly of the Glovers.
Election of Peter Warburton as Aldermen (he having the backing of the Earls of Leicester and Derby).
Vacancies among the Aldermen and Councilmen, Sergeants, Sword and Mace-bearers, and all other offices, to be filled within a week of the decease of the previous holder, in order to make impossible the obtaining of letters of recommendation from influential persons.
