DescriptionElection of Thomas Harbotle, mercer, as Councilman in place of Richard Hoolker, merchant, reported to have died in St. John del Luce.
The Joiners to have a twenty-one year lease of the tower on the Eastgate, rent 6/8, the lease to be void in an emergency.
Thomas Burges, dyer, admitted by a previous Assembly, to pay £6 to the Company of Dyers.
Mr. Christopher Goodman and Mr. David Montford, having shown by petition that they have spent £21 more on the conduit than they have received, to be reimbursed out of the immediate collection of a former rate. The auditors are to finish their accounts.
Mr. John Poole of Sutton not to be admitted as yet.
Richard Crofoote, wright, to receive 26/8 a year for his maintenance work on the conduit at Boughton and at the Cross, and also to be permitted to work as a wright, but not to be admitted.
The petition of John Shawe against the Carters, that they should pay custom on fuel, is deferred.
The petition of the Mere Merchants, concerning a possible suit to trade into Denmark and Poland, deferred until the next Assembly.
William Aldersay given until March 25th next to deliver the £100 poor stock to the City.
The petition of John Delahay to take over the stock etc., deferred until the next Assembly.
The petition of Robert Jones, late apprentice of Thomas Fletcher, draper, for assistance in getting admission into his Company deferred.
