DescriptionMarch 19th. The rate is so unpopular, that ways devised to reduce it; Wall to provide only half the original amount of powder, the remainder, or its equivalent in money, to be provided by other persons.
John Glin to be admitted, paying 40/-.
March 28th. Election of John Lingley, goldsmith, and Richard Spencer the elder, gentleman., as Councilmen in place of Raffe Warmingham, saddler, and William Brown, the latter reputed to have died in Spain.
The petition of William Knight, tailor, late servant of the of the Bishop of Chester, to be admitted, deferred until he has obtained the goodwill of the Tailors.
William Massy and Robert Brocke agree to provide powder.
The Treasurers, William Massy and William Aldersey, instructed to let out the grazing rights on the Roodee.
