DescriptionElection of Thomas Lyniall as Alderman in place of William Glaseor, died Sept. 21st.
The money still required to pay for the powder, to be provided by a levy on the Assembly.
John Stonier, wright, at the request of Christopher Goodman, and Edward Jonson, to be admitted, paying respectively 26/8 and 40/-.
The Treasurers to make enquiry, whether to move the King's fish board from its position against the cellar of Hugh Bromley, gentleman., whose tenant, Rafe Cowper junior, cooper, has petitioned for its removal.
On receipt of further letters from Derby, Walsingham and others of the Privy Council, resolved that Proby be offered an annuity of 40/-, and the reversion of another of 26/8, and that the Mayor, to whom all the letters were addressed, write to Proby explaining that the City can do nothing better.
