DescriptionHenry Annion the elder, tanner, to be indicted at the next Sessions, on complaint received from John Eaton of an assault or rescue [legal: unlawfully liberate / recover property by force].
Peter Buxy to have his fine for contempt (in failing to appear before the Mayor when summoned) respited during his good behaviour.
Henry Hardware given a time limit in which to be sworn as Councilman (which he refuses to do), or else to pay a fine of £20.
The petition of Edward Bathow to have the House of Correction is referred to the consideration of the Mayor and his brethren.
The schoolmaster of Farnworth (a post which ought, and has previously, been filled by the Mayor and Citizens) to be summoned to explain how and why and by whom he was appointed.
On complaint being received of the bad condition of the paying at "Watfild", John Barnes, tanner, and John Ratcliffe, brewer, are appointed to inspect it and to interview and supervise the City Paver; the latter is to be threatened with dismissal if he does not improve.
No gorsestacks to be made without the advice of the Aldermen of the ward and agreement reached with the Treasurers for an annual rent; the Aldermen and Stewards of the Bakers and other companies concerned, to pay the rents for all their members.
