DescriptionOn the information of the Mayor that he has bought the Buttershops from William Leche, in fee farm, for £20, and that he is prepared to surrender the purchase to the City, a committee appointed to consider the matter.
Randle Eaton to have the fourth part of the toll corn (for the sale of his wife's friends) for an annual rent, from which he may deduct his former grant of five marks.

Henry Bennet, John Allen, servant to Sir Henry Harrington, Peter Lawton, servant to Mr. Richard Gravenor, and Thomas Beedle, bowyer, to be admitted, the first three paying £3 6 8, and Beedle, in respect of the need of the City for a good bowyer, paying 26/8.
The Company of Mercers and Ironmongers petition against the long period of free trade in their goods enjoyed by all comers at midsummer and Michaelmas; the point to be submitted to the City's learned Counsel.
