DescriptionElection of Thomas Harvy, glover, and John Throp, tailor, as Councilmen in place of the Sheriffs.
Robert Snagge, Edward Hamner and John Tilston, Aldermen, and Thomas Heward, merchant, Councilman, to be warned to return to the City, or else to expect to be removed and their places.
Tippets to be worn at every Assembly, (fine, 12d.), and Aldermen also to wear their Murrey gowns on those occasions when the Mayor and his bretheren wear their scarlet gowns; but it is not suitable for the Sheriffs, on those occasions, to wear gowns of "foynes".
Auditors appointed to take the accounts of the last two years.
The petitions for admission of Thomas Asmore, ostler, Peter Selvy and Thomas Blake, (the latter having letters from Mr. Thomas Smith and Randle Maynwaringe), are deferred until the next Assembly, and the petitioners are instructed to seek the goodwill of the Innkeepers.
The Barber-Surgeons petition against foreign surgeons practising in the City; the latter to be summoned before the Mayor to show their licences.
The petition of Thomas Lyniall to rent a place for a lime kiln (in view of the shortage of lime in the City) for 20/- a year, deferred until the site has been inspected.
The Sheriffs to collect the fines, and make the usual payments.
