DescriptionOn the complaint of Mrs. Alice, widow of Alderman William Massy, that she is being interfered with by Richard Trevor, deputy to Mr. Swynerton, H.M.'s farmer of the wine customs, in spite of her privileges as the widow of a freeman, resolved that her case be defended as a City cause.
A new impost of 10/- the tun on wine, as provision for the royal Household, also to be fought as a City cause.
Not determined whether Randle Stockton of London (freeman of Chester) to be given a free hand to oppose the merchants of London in their intention of pressing for a monopoly in trade with Denmark.
Mr. Peter Warburton to be permitted to alter the drainage of two of his fields in Saltney.
Persons appointed to inspect the streets, Bridgegate and Dee Bridge, to see what repairs are necessary.
James Downam to be admitted paying £3 6 8.
