Title	Order for election of Clerk of the Pentice; enforcement of bye-laws
Date	13 Dec 1595
Description	The order for the election of Mr. Ellis Williams as Clerk of the Pentice, is already engrossed. The Sheriffs, Leevelookers and other officials are instructed to enforce more rigorously the bye-laws of the City. Associations of journeymen in any trade are forbidden (fine, £10 [from each member, or each association?], and 40/- from every person administering an oath.).
