Description | It was agreed that an answer should be sent to the letter from the Committee for maimed soldiers concerning John Hicco[c]ke. Richard Mercer, clothworker, and Randle Richardson, beerbrewer, were chosen, by a majority vote, to have two portions of Sir Thomas White's money, viz. £25 each. It was ordered that the Wiggin men should pay customs and tolls as heretofore until they showed cause why they should be free; and if any suit should arise on this issue, it was to be defended as a City cause. |
