TitleMaimed soldiers; Sir Thomas White's money; Wiggin men to pay customs and tolls
Date23 Sep 1653
DescriptionIt was agreed that an answer should be sent to the letter from the Committee for maimed soldiers concerning John Hicco[c]ke.
Richard Mercer, clothworker, and Randle Richardson, beerbrewer, were chosen, by a majority vote, to have two portions of Sir Thomas White's money, viz. £25 each.
It was ordered that the Wiggin men should pay customs and tolls as heretofore until they showed cause why they should be free; and if any suit should arise on this issue, it was to be defended as a City cause.
