Thomas Billington, ironmonger, elected Councilman in the stead of Robert Morrey. He took the oaths and subscribed the declaration.
Henry Johnson, joiner, petitioned that a parcel of waste ground belonging to the City, lying in Northgatestreet, against the house of John Anderson, might be granted to him for the term of three lives and twenty-one years at a reasonable rent, so that he might build there. The matter was referred to the Treasurers, who were to report to the next Assembly.
