DescriptionWilliam Wilson, the elder, tanner, elected Alderman in the stead of Arthur Walley, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the declaration.
Samuel Elcock, mercer, elected Councilman in the stead of John Bennett, mercer, deceased, and Benjamin Critchley, draper, in the stead of William Wilson. They took the oaths and subscribed the declaration.
William Streete, Alderman, produced a note from the Auditors certifying that they had perused his accounts as Treasurer for the year 1665-66, and during his mayoralty, and had found that £16: 6s. was due to him from the City. He desired to have this sum.
(ZA/B/2/160) John Anderson, merchant, petitioned for a grant in fee-farm of a parcel of waste ground in Northgatestreet, 40ft. by 12ft. The Treasurers were empowered to treat with him and were to report to the next Assembly.
The petitions of Edward Bavand, gentleman, John Lingley, gentleman, and Matthew Browne, bricklayer, were read but their consideration was deferred.
