DescriptionRalph Burroughes, ironmonger, elected a Councilman in the stead of John Moulson, tanner, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the declaration.
Richard Shone, glover, was chosen as one of John Vernon's almsmen in the place of John Finlow, glover, deceased.
(ZA/B/2/168v) Isaac Swift paid £50 and was admitted to the freedom.
The petition of Hugh Barkeley, innholder, was read but not granted.
It was ordered that all customs and tolls due to the City should be continued and should be received as in the past. Any law-suit concerning them which should arise should be defended at the City's charge.
All persons who had been Sheriffs without first having been Leavelookers were to pay £5 to the Treasurers.
