DescriptionIt was acknowledged that the City owed William Williams, esq., Recorder, £33: 6s: 8d for his salary for the last two and a half years, and £40 which he had lent towards the repair of the Northgate. It was ordered that he should be paid on the following 1st November, and for his security he was given a bond from the Mayor and Citizens under the Common Seal.
