Edward Bridge, innholder, stated that his father and he had been tenants of the incoming toll at the Bridgegate for over eighty years past at the rent of £10. He petitioned for a grant of the toll for two lives or twenty-one years at the same yearly rent. It was ordered that his son Benjamin Bridge should be admitted as the City's tenant of the said toll, and should hold it from year to year at the yearly rent of £10. ?
