Description | A reply to a letter of 22nd April from William Earl of Derby was approved. It was resolved that the Midsummer Show should not be observed that year. (ZA/B/2/192v) Ralph Bulkeley, tailor, and James Allcock were disfranchised for the reasons stated in the petition of the Company of Tailors presented at the Assembly of 19th Dec., 1679. William Maddock, late apprentice to John Foster, feltmaker, was disfranchised because his apprenticeship indenture was antedated two years before it was sealed and executed. The order for disfranchising Richard Higginson, brewer, was read, and, as he had not paid the fine there mentioned, it was ordered that he should be absolutely disfranchised. |
