Description | Bradford Throppe, shoemaker, elected Councilman in the stead of William Plumley, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the declaration. It was resolved that, as the keys under which the common seal used to be kept were lost, the Chest should be broken open; and that the Treasurers should have the locks and keys repaired. The common seal was to be set to the address to be sent to the King. Richard Parker, Deputy Clerk of the Pentice, was to be admitted to the freedom. |
