DescriptionRichard Broster elected Alderman in place of Thomas Byrd, deceased.
Order that all who failed to appear at every Assembly in their gowns and liveries should pay the fines previously appointed, and that the Sheriffs should collect the fines under penalty of 20s. for each failure to do so. Fines for previous offences were remitted.
The petition of William Brasegirdle, yeoman, for admission was granted and his fine fixed at £10.
(ZA/B/2/67). The Mayor moved that Mr. Francis Edwards, clerk, might be admitted to the freedom, and this was granted for a fine of £10.
