Description | Petition of James Wilson and George Robins, two of the Sheriffs' officers, concerning 20s. due to each of them out of the tolls of the gates and fairs collected by their fellow-officers. They had often asked for it but had never received anything and now sought means of ensuring they received it in future. Note that the Assembly should be informed to whom the right of tolls belonged; the officers who had previously collected them might still receive them for this year, but were to state what they had received and pay tolls to those who had a right to them. |
