Description | Petition of Thomas Throppe, baker, that about ten years since he purchased from Thomas Deane, clothier, and Elizabeth his wife, a toft near the Roodee upon which formerly stood one bay of building a 'showringe' and a porch, although he has made no use of the ground, he has paid to the Treasurers the accustomed rent. As he desires to build on the ground, two bays, he asks an increase in the ground granted. Note: that it was referred to the Treasurers to measure out the ground and agree with him for a rent. |
